Main results

The European Council (Art. 50) endorsed the revised withdrawal agreement and approved the revised political declaration.

On this basis, the European Council (Art. 50) invited the Commission, the European Parliament and the Council to take the necessary steps to ensure that the agreement can enter into force on 1 November 2019, so as to provide for an orderly withdrawal.
