Legislative arrangements have already been made with the Higher Education (Amending) Law of 2019 relating to the addition of the following paragraph:

"It is understood that the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union does not affect the agreements / partnerships between Cyprus private schools and UK educational establishments existing on the date of the withdrawal for the awarding of educational qualifications of UK educational establishments by them and for the awarding by UK educational institutions of their own degrees in the Republic, as well as any future franchise agreements or other agreements for the renewal, replacement or modification of existing agreements / partnerships."
